What is the dress code for the wedding?

Summer Chic – Modern or traditional attire from any culture. Whether it’s a sherwani, a folk dress, or a linen suit, wear what makes you feel festive and comfortable! The wedding will be mostly outdoors, so keep the weather in mind when choosing your outfit.

Getting to Öland/Borgholm

There are different options depending on where you are travelling from.

Copenhagen/Malmö to Öland: There are trains running directly from Copenhagen and Malmö to Kalmar (approx 3,5 h). From Kalmar there are buses leaving regularly for Borgholm (approx. 1 h). You can also go by car which takes approximately 3,5 h.

Stockholm to Öland: There are several different options. There is a famous bus called Silverlinjen that will take you to Borhgolm (takes approx. 6 h). There are also trains and flights going to Kalmar, from where you can take the bus to Borgholm. You can also go by car which takes approximately 5,5 h.

Traveling within Öland

Öland isn’t exactly a public transport hotspot—buses are rare, and trains are just a myth. We’ll be booking buses from Djupvik to Borgholm with a few stops along the way, but if you want to leave earlier, a car is your best friend.
